The Betel Nut Taro is a national agricultural product with geographical indication, boasting a planting history of over 600 years. Fujian and Guangdong provinces are characterized by numerous mountainous areas, a coastal location on one side, a warm and humid climate, fertile and breathable soil in ecological fields, and abundant streams.
The betel nut taro produced here features a brownish-yellow skin, milky white flesh with purple-red betel-like patterns, a crispy and fluffy texture, and a rich, delicious taste.
Through rapid freezing at -40°C, its texture and nutrients are well preserved.
The product is processed into taro dices, strips, chunks and other shapes, which are highly versatile and suitable for various cooking methods such as steaming, mashing into taro puree, stewing in soups, hot pot, and dry pot.
